Proyecto preocupado por elbienestar del adulto mayor, población que en la ciudad de México es ignorada y vulnerable. Atender al usuario involucra considerar sus necesidades físicas, cognitivas y sociales, lo que se vuelve el objetivo de Centro Palmeral. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; El tratamiento de fachadas responde a la preocupación del confort térmico particular del usuario, y son las celosías de madera las que regulan los rayos solares y generan sensaciones de movimiento. Este proyecto de edificio de oficinas surgió de la actividad institucional por mejorar el uso del software Revit de Autodesk. En el análisis se identificaron conceptos arquitectónicos como el de la dualidad, concepto que habla sobre la interacción entre el espacio interior y exterior. La dualidad toma forma como un marco de columnas y elementos horizontales que definen al espacio y generan memorias al que las habite. La planta baja se encuentra una galería y un auditorio para el público en general. Los niveles restantes son habitacionales, en cada nivel hay 10 departamentos. Proyecto convocado por el Centro de Bóvedas Mexicanas, IBOMEX, ubicado en San Andrés Huayapam, Oaxaca. La convocatoria fue para estudiantes de todo el mundo diseñaran el anteproyecto de una ludoteca. Esto requirió un profundo análisis de sitio en aspectos climáticos, topográficos y arquitectura vernácula del sitio. Además, a la hora de realizar el diseño fue considerado respetar las construcciones existentes del sitio para no incrementar el presupuesto del proyecto. Existió como inspiración la curva de la proporción áurea para el acomodo de cada volumen. Se tomo como punto de partida el jardín de cactáceas, buscando darle protagonismo e incluirlo dentro del proyecto. De ahí se proyectaron tres líneas a distancias equidistantes que dictarán la dirección de los volúmenes. Para que el proyecto se integrara con las bóvedas ya existentes de IBOMEX, se consideró una altura que no las sobrepasara. Existe una conexión visual (material) y física (acceso) entre ambos proyectos. Los edificios abovedados tienen distintas aberturas o cerramientos, la sala de proyecciones se encuentra completamente cerrada con el propósito de poder usar un proyector. La biblioteca interactiva esta dividida en dos áreas, la cerrada donde se encontraran los estantes para el almacenamiento de libros y otros objetos con opción a cerrarse y poder protegerse de la intemperie. El proyecto está conectado a un máster plan que atraviesa la ciudad de Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, y termina en la bahía de Puerto Angelito. Es un lugar donde no hay bordes sociales, por el contrario, hay una sinergia entre la cultura zapoteca del estado, la generación de empleos y la recuperación de espacios públicos para los habitantes. Ambas playas son reconocidas por su desarrollo turístico y la presencia de comercio informal a lo largo del borde costero. Éste sitio, es la parte final del recorrido de Aguuya Zee, donde se proyectó un corredor artístico que promueve el arte oaxaqueño, el intercambio de la palabra entre ambas poblaciones y un enriquecimiento cultural. El proyecto Aguuya Zee consta de 43,000 m2 y una pendiente de 40 metros en el recorrido estas condicionantes físicas determinaron la forma del proyecto, la serpiente danzante. A la par se planteó un recorrido que pudiera conectar de forma más directa y surje el camino recto, y otra fue en conectar los puntos más lejanos del predio, de ahí surgieron los caminos en diagonal. La inversión privada ha fomentado la vanguardia en la construcción con acero resaltando la importancia de construir contemplando la sustentabilidad, impacto del medio ambiente y el papel de esto dentro de los procesos industriales en cada etapa del diseño. Considerando esto, la remodelación del Estadio Azul busca no dañar tanto al medio ambiente por medio de estrategias bioclimáticas como la iluminación natural, la energía solar, la renovación de aire, la captación y reutilización de agua. Además, se planea durante su construcción hacer uso de técnicas constructivas como de los fóculos los cuales tienen gran capacidad de carga. La maqueta que más se desarrolla es la del “El Aroma”, maquetas que logran una espacialidad interesante a cruzar con alguna vivienda preexistente. Se realizaron ejercicios tanto manuales como gráficos para comunicar las ideas de espacialidad del objeto. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; El objetivo final del taller fue lograr una maqueta que pudiera ensamblarse y no requiriera de pegamento, con esto se llega al resultado final donde se hace un diseño muy particular de cada conexión y de cada vértice de la pieza obtenida. El aprendizaje total del taller fue lograr que de una forma compleja obtenida manualmente, se pudiera lograr su construcción a distintas escalas con distintos materiales y con ayuda de herramientas Entender que para ellos la vida monástica es estar en contemplación todo el tiempo. Los monjes de la orden del Císter tienen como base las reglas de San Benito. Viven en comunidad, pero alejados de las ciudades, por lo general están en reflexión cuando tienen descansos. La frase “ora et labora” ejemplifica sus actividades diarias de transcripción y de cultivo para la su autosostenibilidad. El Monasterio cisterciense se ubicó en un desierto a 80 km de Pisco, Perú muy cerca de un río, esto para que puedan proveerse de agua potable. El proyecto partió de la investigación de las abadías del Císter y los elementos autónomos que las componían.
